I knew I wasn't gonna be a good drag queen. But if you're gonna do it, you gotta just do it. I loved it. It was so much fun.

She was overserved on the airplane and made such a spectacle of herself that when she landed in Aspen she was told that she was no longer allowed to fly on any airline ever again. So she took up residency in Aspen. Because she was too drunk to drive home. It also afforded me the ability to be like, "She's a great dancer. At your house. When you're drunk." She's just not great onstage. I don't need her to be anything more than that. I wanted her to be the one that brings everybody together, makes everybody feel comfortable, goes out of her way to help that person at the party that doesn't know everybody. Jackie was definitely the person backstage who, when she saw somebody having a moment, she was like, "Girl, you're amazing."

The reason he didn't, he was like, "The thousands of people that I know in this world, you are 100-percent the last person that I'd think would ever do this."

Be awesome at being OK. I really enjoyed the process. But I also know there are people who are really, really talented and this is their passion. The art of it -- the hair and the makeup and the wardrobe and the choreography. There's so much that goes into it. It was really enlightening to learn all of that and have that perspective. I have such a different respect and appreciation for this art form.
