Daddy Yankee isretiring from music. But not before a new album and tour.

The reggaeton pioneer, who is largely responsible for taking the sound worldwide, kicks off La Ultima Vuelta World Tour in August. He'll perform Sept. 15 at Toyota Center. Tickets go on sale at10 a.m. March 30.

His first album in a decade, "Legendaddy," will be released Friday. Daddy Yankee became a global star with the release of 2004 single "Gasolina," a song that can still get any party started. He paved the way for countless artists since, including J Balvin and Bad Bunny.

Daddy Yankee was also part of the record-setting "Despacito" with Luis Fonsi.
