"Watching him ill because of kidney failure challenged my entire perspective on family relationships and the importance of being a support system to humanity," Jordan wrote onInstagram.
Adam Ross Leibold, of Houston-based Adam Ross Bespoke & Custom Clothiers, heard the story and wanted to celebrate the father-son duo. This month, he made an $8,000 donation to the Quality of Life Foundation. He also fitted them both with Italian Loro Piana Australis Super 150’s Native Australian Merino wool stretch suits.
"Their story is truly heartfelt and inspirational. Chris is a true hero for undergoing surgery to save his father's life," Leibold says.
Jordan's foundation is in its beginning stages, and Leibold's $8,000 was the first donation. March is also National Kidney Month.
"We are very thankful," Scarface says. "It gets no bigger than this, outside of the fact that he insisted on getting us fitted for suits, out of the kindness of his heart he wanted to help out even further."
Adam Ross Bespoke & Custom Clothierslaunched in 2020, just before the pandemic, and has created custom suits for Bun B, Mark Speer of Khruangbin and Michael Rapaport.
