"Y'all want Megan to be a liar so bad,"tweetedblogger KenBarbie alongside copies of medical reports.

"What's going around is the initial police report.. NOT a medical report. It's BEEN said she told police she stepped on glass initially; that's not new. It wasn't until later the doctor confirmed/told her she had bullet fragments in her foot."

This is the same story Megantold Gayle King last monthon "CBS Mornings." Megan said there was an argument in the car that didn't involve her. She got out of the car, then back in, then out again. She then heard a man scream, "Dance, bitch" before he started shooting.

Lanez, she said, immediately began apologizing to her and offered everyone "a million dollars if y'all don't say nothing." When the police arrived, her sense of dread escalated.

"It was like so many of 'em. It was helicopters. I was like, 'Oh my God, we all about to die.' The George Floyd incident had just happened. The police are very much shoot first, ask questions after. Something bad is about to happen," she said.

Megan originally told police she stepped on glass to explain her bleeding foot. She said she did it to "protect all of us."

"I didn't want them to kill of any of us. Or shoot any of us. So I just said I stepped on glass. For some reason, I was just trying to protect all of us because I didn't want them to kill us," she said.

Doctors found "three major bullet fragments" in Megan’s ankles, according toPage Six. The Houston rapper told the same version of events during an Instagram Live. (Video below, explicit language.)

"I'm the victim. Something happened to me."

Lanez has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He will be back in court in September.
