Megan Thee Stallionspoke out Monday morningabout the 2020 shooting allegedly involving rapper Tory Lanez.
During an emotional interview with Gayle King on "CBS Mornings," the Houston rapper recounted the events that ended with her being shot in the foot. Megan said there was an argument in the car that didn't involve her and she "never put my hands on anybody. I never raised my voice too loud."

"Like, this was one of them times where it was, like, it shouldn't have got this crazy," she said.
Megan said she got out of the car, then back in, then out again. She then heard a man scream, "Dance, bitch" before he started shooting.

"He is standin' up over the window shooting. And I didn't even want to move. I didn't want to move too quick. Like, 'cause I'm like, 'Oh, my God. If I take the wrong step, I don't know if he's gonna shoot something that's, like, super important. I don't know if he could shoot me and kill me'," she said.
Lanez, she said, immediately began apologizing to her and offered everyone "a million dollars if y'all don't say nothing."
When the police arrived, her sense of dread escalated.
“这就像很多。这是直升机。我was like, 'Oh my God, we all about to die.' The George Floyd incident had just happened. The police are very much shoot first, ask questions after. Something bad is about to happen," she said.
Megan originally told police she stepped on glass to explain her bleeding foot. She said she did it to "protect all of us."
"I didn't want them to kill of any of us. Or shoot any of us. So I just said I stepped on glass. For some reason, I was just trying to protect all of us because I didn't want them to kill us," she said.
Lanez was jailed earlier this month for violating a protective order that prohibits him from directly addressing Megan on social media. He was released on bail. Lanez has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including felony assault with a semiautomatic firearm, personal use of a firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. He will be back in court in September.
Since the incident, Megan said her relationships have suffered and her anxiety has worsened.
"I feel like my relationship with people, it's gotten very cold, 'cause I'm not as trusting as I used to be. I got this wall, and I don't wanna make any friends. Half the time, I just wanna pick up the phone and call my mama and be like, 'What do I do?' It's too much. I feel crazy. I'm sad. I feel like I have to hold it in because I have to be strong for so many people," she said.
"I'm the victim. Something happened to me."
